Sustainable Energy is the Future and the Future is Now!

  •  30% Government Incentives is Money on The Table
  •  Reduce your electric bill by 10-80%.
  •  The technology is available now.
  •  Paybacks of 3-10 years are common.
  •  Find out how. Call us at 817-522-5200.

LoneStar Engineering has developed several new and exciting integrated systems that will reduce your energy bills in both summer and winter.  All these systems utilize hot water generated on your home or office roof that can be used to potentially eliminate your hot water energy consumption and supplement your heating requirements.

Windterra ECO 1200 1 kW Vertical Axis Wind Turbine

The Windterra ECO1200 Wind Turbine is a revolutionary Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT). Thanks to its advanced technical design, the ECO1200 is ideally suited to both rural and urban installations, generating green energy from a freely available source -- the wind! Wind generation provides a viable solution for addressing such issues as the increasing demand and cost of power, and directly addresses world environmental issues.

SolmaXX Evacuated Tube Collectors

Evacuated tubes are the absorber of the solar water heater. During the day, the tubes absorb energy from the sun by transferring the heat energy into each tubes heat pipe. The SolMaxx technology has been used in several different countries including the United States, Germany, Canada and China. Unlike many other evacuated tube systems, the SolMaxx series utilizes a twin-glass tube to provide additional strength, efficiency, and longevity.

Each evacuated tube consists of two glass tubes made from extremely strong borosilicate glass. The outer tube is transparent allowing light rays to pass through with minimal reflection. The inner tube is coated with a special selective coating (Al-N/Al) which features excellent solar radiation absorption when compared to conventional flat plate collector systems.  The top of the two tubes are fused together and the air contained in the space between the two layers of glass is pumped out while exposing the tube to high temperatures. This "evacuation" of the gasses forms a vacuum, which is an important factor in the performance of the evacuated tubes.

New, SolMaxx evacuated solar heating systems offer reliable, proven, and renewable energy for all your heating needs. Evacuated solar technology has been used for several decades; however they typically are more expensive to install then conventional flat plate collectors. The SolMaxx heating systems are now more affordable then ever with low costs manufacture techniques used by Silicon Solar Inc.

Reduce your electric bills in half with a complete SolMaxx heating system. With payback periods less then 3-5 years, you can stop paying heating bills and start saving, backed by our 10 year warranty. Each evacuated solar tubes system includes all mounting hardware, manifold, and heat pipes. Their lightweight design and easy installation makes them a great selection for do-it-yourself customers interested in installing their own heating system.

Choose from two system styles, our SolMaxx-20, producing 40,000BTU per day, and our SoMaxx-25 evacuate tube system producing 51,000BTU per day. Heat pipes & reflector plate are made of copper to increase the collectors efficiency in cold temperatures.

Each of the heat pipes is sealed in a glass tube to prevent heat loss. The heat pipes themselves contain a special fluid that allows solar radiation to be absorbed and transferred to the household stored hot water very efficiently. The solar heating fluid is separate from the water to be heated and is connected to the solar cylinder via a heat exchange coil.

Product - " SolCool Hybrid Solar AC System"

The two-ton, Hybrid SolCool platform with its Vortex Chamber, Dry Side Tubes, NXFASE Ice Battery, Supply Evaporator and Back Up Battery makes it unique in the market. The Solar Power Option, air purification, battery backup, 110/12 volt power and DC Lights & Ceiling Fan options make the SolCool far more comfortable, reliable, sustainable and secure than any other AC Unit anywhere.

Harnessing the power of the sun, the SolCool Hybrid System combines innovative design with proven technologies that deliver reliable comfort at a greater than 75% savings in energy consumption compared to most 13 SEER air conditioning products on the market (983 EER*), in the 2-3 ton range. Plus, the SolCool system offers many benefits not available with conventional cooling systems

The AC platform will support continued operation during powers outages eliminating the need for backup generators in most cases.

The System offers DC lighting and ceiling fan options that operate during power outages with onboard 80 amp hour backup battery.

The SolCool Solar Air Conditioner can create a cooling envelope all the way through the attic with outside makeup air during operation. This effect dramatically reduces heat gain in the attic or, recirculate 100% indoor air in high humidity/heat environments.

Upgrade new homes into the 21st century and lower your monthly operating costs with the SolCool Solar Air Conditioning system and 1.3 kW PowerCenter, DC Lighting, and DC Ceiling Fans.
